This additional blade insert with a 10mm cutting width allows for slicing extra wide sticks. Create delicious French fries in a matter of minutes. The 3.5mm insert is height-adjustable and enables you to process fruit and vegetables in two steps. This insert is only suitable for the V5 Power slicer. You have the option to order the insert separately.
Using the first position you can cut 3.5mm strips and small cubes. Using the other position of the insert you can cut very fine strips (approx. 3,5mm x 1,5mm) or small cubes.
When preparing the fruit, it needs to be turned 90° after each step – this makes the preparation of bouillons and filigree salads very easy.

The 7mm insert is height-adjustable and enables you to process fruit and vegetables in two steps. This insert is only suitable for the V5 Power slicer. Here you have the option to order the insert separately.
With the first position using the 7mm insert you can cut 7 x 7 mm strips and cubes (do not forget to gash the fruit). Using the second position you can cut thinner strips and by moving the fruit slightly cut approx. 7 x 3,5mm cubes.
The insert is recommended for soups, stir-fries and rustic salads.

Cheese is a treat – especially if just spread on bread. It’s just as suitable to be used as a spread under honey or marmalade as well as a dip, for scalloping and as a filling for antipasti.
Cheese is rich in important nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus and vitamins A, B, E, D and K and at the same time it is also low in fat. In comparison to store-bought cheese, homemade cheese contains no preservatives, thickeners, colorants and flavor enhancers. Homemade cheese is a natural product, which can be varied according to your own taste.
But how can you make your own cheese? It’s really easy. The original Borner recipe asks for milk (cow’s, sheep’s, goat, lactose-free, soy or almond milk), a microwave or a commercially available pot and a coagulant, such as lemon juice or vinegar. First the milk is heated before adding the coagulant to clot it and afterwards poured into the Borner Cheesemaker. The Borner Multimaker is the ideal companion for that! And that’s it really!
Of course, you can add additional ingredients, such as herbs or spices, to create your own taste. Either you enjoy the cheese when it’s still warm after it has been poured or you place it in the fridge to intensify the taste and consolidate the consistency.
The Borner Cheesemaker consists of a high-quality strainer of resistant BPA-free plastic. You will also receive a custom-fit plate, which serves as a drip aid for liquids. The plate can also be used to serve the cheese. The strainer as well as the plate of the Cheesemaker can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Avoid using aggressive cleaners or abrasives.

Der im Set enthaltene Börner Multimaker ist die perfekte Ergänzung zum Cheesemaker, um leckeren Käse herzustellen.
Dazu sind nur wenige Schritte notwendig:
1. Geben Sie 1l Milch in den Multimaker und stellen Sie diesen für 7-10 Minuten in die Mikrowelle (800 Watt). Alternativ erhitzen Sie die Milch für 5-7 Minuten im Topf auf dem Herd bis eine Temperatur von 80 Grad erreicht ist.
2. Danach entnehmen Sie den Multimaker der Mikrowelle und fügen der Mischung ein gewünschtes Säuerungsmittel zu. Dazu eignen sich zum Beispiel 30 ml Zitronensaft.
3. Nun stellen Sie die Milch nochmal für 5-7 Minuten in die Mikrowelle (900 Watt) oder erhitzen Sie für 5-7 Minuten im Topf auf dem Herd. Anschließend geben Sie das Salz hinzu und können die Mischung mit den gewünschten Gewürzen verfeinern.
4. Nun ist es an der Zeit die gesamte Masse in das Abtropfsieb zu schütten. Stellen Sie dem Ganzen etwas unter, um die Flüssigkeit aufzufangen.
5. Spülen Sie den Multimaker kurz unter klarem Wasser aus um dann den Teller und darauf das Sieb hineinstellen. Den Käse können Sie direkt warm verspeisen/verarbeiten oder je nach gewünschter Konsistenz oder Geschmacksintensität in den Kühlschrank stellen.
6. Zum Servieren stürzen Sie den Käse auf den Teller oder eine Platte und verfeinern ihn ganz nach Belieben mit Essig oder Öl und feinen Kräutern. Sie werden begeistert sein!
